I just bought a used Spuhr one-piece mount (SP-4001) and just this weekend saw someone using a Send iT digital level....I have been having problems finding a level that I can actually see while in position (looking through scope) and thought that maybe this could be the ticket. Anyway, was wondering if anyone has mounted one of these to the side of a Spuhr? Do I just need a Spuhr A-0012 Pic Rail interface or would I also need a spacer to make the level clear the side of the mount/action/(stock? - not sure how far it would stick down on the side)?

Thanks,
Stephen

Here are the two places you can mount it on SPHUR

Just ordered a ZC527. Cant tell in the pic that has Sendit vertical mounted but do you have a pic rail in that picture? Or are you using the small “pic” piece that comes with Sendit vertical mount ?
My Send it didn’t come with any pic rail that I remember.
It looks to me that he is using the longer of the 2 Sphur pic rail options.
I used the short Sphur pic rail to mount my vertically. Amazed how well it works

You can also attach a rail to the side of the forend and perform a calibration, it will still recognize cant because of the 12-axis design. Only difference will be your lights display being vertical instead of horizontal. Check out their picture gallery to see it mounted that way.

If you decide to go that route you can also go with the Sent iT XSL because the spirit level is useless in that position anyway, unless you use one Send iT for several rifles with multiple different mounting styles.

The ring mounted pic rails are an option they sell on their web site to be mounted on the scope body in specific diameters, you can also find some other options on Amazon, or from Primary Arms for example. Vertical on a forend mounted side located pic rail works great and I can see it without having to look up and lose sight picture.

When mounted at 90 degrees I needed to use a Spuhr spacer (4mm) A-0001 to keep the bottom edge of the send it level from contacting the top edge of my Foundation stock. This for a ZCO 5-27 in a Spuhr 6001 mount.
