Ares BTR 2.5-15x50. MIL/MIL. 30mm tube. Illuminated Christmas tree reticle. Great condition and tracks true. Awesome optic for hunting but I've used it to shoot my 223 bolt gun out to 1150y. Comes with sunshade and mk machining printed throw lever. Scope is in great condition. Object has been had grip tape on it its entire life so no scratches. $500 shipped CONUS

I believe so but if it isnt you can send it in and they usually send you a new scope instead if fixing it.

The SKU # for the gen 1 scope is 212002 and the SKU # for the gen 2 scope is 212004. That's printed on the end of the box the scope came in and can also be found on the bottom of the turret.

There isn't a problem to be fixed with the gen 1 scopes, Athlon simply decided to upgrade the turret mechanism. It's highly doubtful that they will exchange a gen 1 for a gen 2 if you just want the newer turret.

My point is if you send it in for any kind of warranty and they dont have any gen1 scopes they're going to send you a gen2 scope.

You can pull the o-ring out of the turret if it's too mushy for you. Not the perfect solution, but a solution nonetheless.
