These stocks any good? Trying to find a stock for a hunting rifle build without going Manners.
If you have pics please post them and if not tell what you think.
Thanks

I talked with DST and there not running the special on the Remington barreled action amymore, but I did talk to them about a stock. I'm still not sold on the Greyboe yet,I just don't want to spend the money on a Manners for a hunting rifle.

$200 for the renegade seems like an excellent deal.

Only consideration would be weight, not sure what qualifies as hunting weight for you. Their outlander is lighter and may be more applicable depending on your needs.

I really enjoy my Renegade. It feels great in hand. My R700 6.5SAUM is well within 1/2moa or better not bedded. The rugged quality feel is not the same as a McMillan but it is also not near the price. I have not found it lacking for anything I do. Will try to add some pictures.

Here she is!

The only complaint I have with the Grayboe stocks is the short length of pull. I called Grayboe and they do not offer any spacer kits for the rifles. The only stock they make with length of pull adjustment is the ridgeback which I have. If they would offer something like that for the terrain, I would have them on all my hunting rifles.

Yeah, I made some DIY spacers as a temporary fix for my Renegade. Think I'll send it off at some point to get the McMillan spacer system installed. It's kind of a pain LOP can't be adjusted from the factory, but not really unexpected since it's a budget McMillan A5 which also would need the modification as well.
