Since the beginning of time there have been Doomsday cults. The Weather/Population Doomsday cult started after WWII with the Nuclear age in my opinion.
During the 1950's we were going to get wiped off the face of the earth with nukes and into the 60's and 70's it manifested itself with alien invasions, giant insects and other goofy movies, books and magazine articles. "scientists" of the era claimed all such bullshit was possible with nukes. The 60's were more of the same bullshit, Planet of the Apes( soon to be movies), crazed Space movies and so on and so forth.
Then in the 1970's we have the coming Ice Age bullshit, the weather cult demanded we nuke the ice caps, cover them with coal dust to draw heat and melt them. We start learning to eat walrus meat because it will be too fucking cold for cows and chickens. Article after Article on the coming ice age.
Then in the late 1970's early 1980s' oil would run out and we would live in a Mad Max world until we all died at the hands of motorcycle riding rapists. The ice caps would suck up all the fresh water and we would have massive droughts, everyone would die, we had too many people to feed and so forth and so on.
Then it got warmer and dryer in the 1990's and the damned ice caps shrank, contrary to the bullshit of the last decade, so we had global warming.........................................................not just any global warming but man-fucking-made global warming. Never-mind that 50% of the weather stations measuring temps were improperly positioned facing the sun, in parking lots and over concrete pads that absorbed heat and distorted results................it was REAL!!!!!! Al Gore famously said, no more snow for Great Britain by 2010, no more snow in the Pacific Northwest where I live would become a temperate rain forest as temps stayed in the 40's all winter. (oddly enough it is snowing and 30 degrees at my house today in 2019)
Now they totally missed the predictions of the last 50 damned years do they fucking triple down again!!!!!!! HOLY FUCK!!!!!.............................WE HAVE A DECADE TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if we do not destroy our economy, replace oil with non-existent technology and stop eating meat the planet will be destroyed. The only way to save the planet is to give over your families entire net worth to the government and let them spend it n enriching the fucking scumbags who never worked or saved a fucking dime. We must end private transportation, we must end good food, we must force people into cities and end ownership of single family homes, we must sail the ocean in multi-million dollar carbon fiber sail boats with a potato head teenager from Sweden and warn the world to do as little kids demand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No one is stopping you from using or buying less crap, no one is stopping you from eating less and living in a fucking tiny house, no one is throwing their damned plastic in the ocean in Western Civilized countries. No one is stopping you from buying your veggies from the local hippy instead of evil corporate farms. No one is stopping you from eating a fucking dog food burger at Burger King. When you persecute scientists who dare to question your science instead of defending your hypothesis you are just another quack and if you dare to question their climate bullshit they refuse to prove it. Saying 11,000 scientists believe it is as stupid as saying Catholic's believe the Pope. It's a religion for leftists........that's all it is.
