I'm personally of the opinion that the drafters of these bills are criminals - they have drafted illegal/un Constitutional legislation and it has been illegally voted on. The drafters of said legislation and the folks who vote for it are criminals and in breach of oath. They should be being sued and prosecuted/persecuted for being criminals and enacting illegal laws. This is criminal intent.

Some bunch of armed folks should be camping outside their houses, following them to work, and when they go to dinner and when they go to the store and badgering them incessantly until they resign.

Or maybe someone could get a judge to issue a warrant for their arrest for criminal activities including the drafting of illegal laws and have them arrested.

This is not over....just beginning. It's the politicians who are criminals trying to enact illegal laws making law abiding citizens criminals via mere possession of objects that are Constitutionally protected. It's like our Government is going full Fascist/Nazi and criminalizing anything that can threaten their lust for absolute power and authority. The Governor has every reason to be fucking frightened.

The organizers prob figured that a holiday would increase turnout; gun owners wouldn’t have to choose between standing up for their rights and going to work. perhaps they thought too many would prioritize work....FUDDS-wise, this is def the case.

I hear 100,000 people may show up? if attendance is even close to that, would still send quite a message.

VCDL has held Lobby Day on the same day for many many years now (like decades now), because, as you state, it's a state holiday and more people can attend. Also, the legislature is still in session, so even though it's a holiday, you can still visit your rep's in their offices as they are at work. It is just after the last call for legislation. So, VCDL can make packets for the reps to be a short bulleted list of items of concern for each of the things they might be voting on.
Lobby Day is just that, you get together, make some appointments with the reps/senators and talk to them about issues. VCDL has used this day to push pro-gun measures and over the years gotten a lot of good things passed into law and a lot of bad laws removed.
In a normal session (year past) this works great, plenty of time. The problem this year is that dem's changed the rules over and over knowing 1/20 is the date and is pushing things faster and faster to get things through.

@chrismartin - makes sense, hoping turn out is as expected or more.

Northam and his fellow commies are very shook, not sleeping and certainly didn’t anticipate such a rapid, largely unified response to his/Bloomberg’s bullshit. Nearly every county has passed 2A sanctuary resolutions, no way he anticipated that.

doubt they're shook and not sleeping. they're like a pig in mud over screwing all of us out of our 2a rights. they already sent on four antigun bills despite the massive 2a sanctuary county movement. and with the fences and no guns at the rally, they're further sticking it to us and trying to dissuade our presence.

maybe. But calling on the national guard for “help”, declaring a state of emergency (lol) and trying to pervert the message don’t sound like the actions of folks taking things in stride...guess we will see.

The sheriff must convene a grand jury and present evidence to gain the permission to arrest an official such as a govenor in this case. I am not sure if it must me that county's sheriff or any of that state's county sheriffs.

That's why we the people need to know our state level reps, sheriff included, to remind them of their duty, and that we not only will support them to do what is right, but that we know our options to remove them when they do wrong.

Yup. I was all excited when I started understanding a sheriffs power and how his role can be a great avenue for the constitution.. then I moved to a state were I have more freedoms than most. It’s great but we don’t have sheriffs here.. only troopers and city cops..

For those that don't know, he lives on site at the Governor's Mansion, so he'll be at home, at work, or hiding at some other location. They'll probably be having a rally to remember those killed by gun violence somewhere, so he'll take that opportunity for a press briefing if he can.

I’d surround the mansion, the entire block and block all roads leading to that block. Then I’d have a separate set of groups hanging out outside of the perimeter as a catch all as an alternative group to come to aid if things get crazy. With 100k people you should easily be able to do this. He trick is getting them all to follow orders. You don’t want to be caught up in the square for sure.

I bet that he will be grandstanding at a "Moms demand more violence from career criminals" gathering somewhere else in Richmond.

The M$M will spend 5 minutes on that one and five seconds on the VCDL rally -showing a toothless hillbilly with a confederate flag. That's my guess for the best case scenario on Monday. (You may want to find out where the crazy moms meet and be there as well)

For the worst case scenario my bet is on a blood bath in the 'pig trap' fences around the capitol. That will not only seal the fate of 2A rights in VA but will also have the Socialists in Washington scream for deletion of 2A from the BOR. By November -with the help of a couple more school shootings committed by drugged out pimple faces from progressive single mom households- they will have the votes for that.

Middle ground scenario is no positive coverage, no bloodbath, but a group of paid actors dressed as 2A supporters breaking shit in the city and a very 'lucky' M$M team reporting live from Richmond with an anchor who is very good at faking outrage.

Has it occurred to anyone that the tyrants HAVE to justify their actions, preparations, and associated cost? Do you think they will allow that day to end peacefully? Never let a crisis go to waste (or miss an opportunity to create one).

Today and Monday are Virginia state employee holidays. However, the General Assembly will be in session. The executive branch will be working also. Most agencies will have someone working to take calls from the delegates and senators if necessary.

Northam has publicly admitted to conspiring to deprive newborn infants of their lives.

He has also admitted his plans to deprive citizens of their rightful property.

A judge needs to get some balls and bring charges against Northam.

Politicians cannot publicly scheme about infanticide and stay out of prison.
