What mags (or kits) are you running in an ARC Nucleus for 6 BR? I cant get seem to get a straight answer from the googler.

I think I saw just today in the original MDT BR mag announcer thread they said they would work with the small bodied three lug bolt of the Nuke.

Really? I've asked them several times and they say it won't work. If so, that's the route I'm going. Did you have to do any work to the lips?
I made subtle tweaks mostly so the bolt catches more of the brass when chambering a round. I have mine in an XLR chassis and depending on what stock, bottom metal, chassis you are running you may or may not have to adjust your mags.
Some slow motion of my combo.

I have intermittent issues with my MDT BR mag with nucleus action and 6 br barrel. Same issues in both a chassis and a bedded manners stock. Typically end up with rounds nosediving with about 3 - 6 left in the magazine.

I’ve had better luck with plain old Magpul AICS mags as long as I load the rounds about 1/4” forward of the rear of the mag.

With my Nucleus action I ran ARC mags with no magazine kit and never had any feeding issues. Just tapped it against my leg before inserting it to make sure the rounds were all the way against the rear.

ARC do work great for a BR without a kit but only if they are clean. Get them dusty and forget about it. However I do keep one as a backup if my other two MDT mags should ever fail.

Yes, that is the catch for them. What worked for me was to just toss my magazines into an ultrasonic cleaner full of rubbing alcohol after each match. Never had any issues because that kept them plenty clean.

Yeah ARC mags worked great for me until the Hornady PRC match dust disaster last year, then they didn’t. As if 6BR wasn’t a bad enough choice for that match to start with, then throw in mag failures...
