Hi, finally have a tikka on the way, just a few more days!
Sooner than later I’ll be looking to replace the stock with something a little more usable.
Huge fan of the MDT and Masterpiece chassis but they are way out of budget.. as are the high end fiberglass companies..
Was looking into the Bell and Carlson, but after reading numerous negative threads on their quality control and customer service I decided against them.
The Bravo is currently one of my top two Choices. The modularity is a plus, as is the styling, not a huge fan of the plastic stock though..
Other stock I’ve found in the sub $400 range is Boyd’s pro varmint. Heard some negatives about them but mostly positive.. they can be pillar bedded and have an option for an adjustable cheek riser. In general I’m kinda liking them, but at that point price It isn’t too far off from the Bravo..
I know tons of people are happily running the Bravo, anyone running the Boyd’s?
