Sold my AI some months back, and it will probably be a few years before I can afford to reacquire one, so I'm selling some of the leftover parts. First up is this Krieger barrel chambered by Accurate Ordnance in .284WIN with a 1:9 twist. Length is 30", and it's a straight taper (i.e., no taper) with a target crown (non-threaded muzzle). Round count is about 300, if I recall correctly. Bought it from a member of SnipersHide and was going to use it as an "ELR" barrel pushing 180+ grain projectiles out to a mile or more, which it would be very well suited for. Weight is 9lbs 5.7oz, so it's a pig, but should help keep recoil to a minimum. I'm looking for$525 $480 $460 $450 $440 $430 *$400* shipped. It does have some finish scratches from being moved around, but the bore and crown look fantastic. No trades, please. Thanks!

Bump, now a measly $420 shipped! At 9lbs and 30” long, shipping ain’t cheap, so this may be about the lowest I can go.
Did you ever shoot the 284, or get fired brass with it? Curious if you know the chamber neck diameter. Thanks!
I did not, uortunately. I got the following info from the original owner, however:
“Case trim to 2.150
Lapua Brass
Berger Hybrid 180
H4831sc jump 0.02
57.32gr
Necked up Lapua brass is the best. Hybrid 180gr with H4831sc is the most popular in fclass match.
Remember use the inside reamer to eliminate the donut effect”
Casting the chamber shouldn’t be too hard, but unless the buyer wants to cover that cost for me, they’ll have to do it themselves. The original owner claimed 0.2-0.3MOA groups with Berger 180 Hybrids.
Another bump. You won’t likely see an AI barrel in this caliber again anytime soon, so jump on this one while you can!
