I really like rifle mounted range finders but I dont know much about them. what are some pros and cons of a rifle mounted rangefinder set up compared to a handheld? I know about the "Radius" but I have no clue where to buy them. If anyone knows where I can buy a Radius or knows of a really good alternative please let me know. thanks for your time.

The Radius has been discontinued for a couple years now. Your only option is the used market. Wilcox Raptar is the only other one I know of that's rifle mounted.

Burris and SIG both have range-finding scopes. Or at least Burris does. SIG's is integrated with an external rangefinder. I tried them both, and discarded them because they were generally useless past 800 yards.

so I'm guessing that ill have to stick with a Used Radius or just go with a handheld then.

The Burris and SIG technologies were very cool ... I'm a high-tech gadget guy and they were fun. That said, I only target shoot at known or easily measurable distances (no hunting) and my Kestrel did the job just fine without the "gadgetry" of those two scope solutions. It just ended up taking longer to use them than just dialing in elevation and doing a good wind holdover.

Find a used radius or pay $3k plus for a Raptar. The place where rifle mounted rangefinders pay off most is shooting with NV and thermal clip on optics where handhelds aren't very practical. For daytime use I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze with current options.
