Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

I think it was, before someone did some nice mod work....

Years ago there was a company doing the 6x6 conversion/resto and IIRC they were $200k+!!! Looks like the did 1 or 2 and that was it. The couple of M37s I had makes me wonder how anyone can beat that thick metal into submission.

It wasn’t a difficult photograph to take once I could figure out how to get the lens through the bars.
black, fight back. Brown, lay down. White, good night. I wrassled a trained bear once. Wasn't even close. Ladies weren't allowed to participate. Guess you can't train a bear completely.

Well, as a big tattoo aficionado, I can tell you that; Most of the shitty +30 year old tattoos you have seen, did not look that great when they were new either. Tattoo skills, ink and needles has come a long way since then, and chances are that a good looking (well made) tattoo made recently will probably look pretty damn good even 30 years down the road. But in all honesty, no one really knows for sure, as tattoos today (the last 15-20 years or so) are made to a standard that has not been seen or done before. The skin it self will age, but there is no way around that.
With all that said, some of the ink on the ladies above are obviously fake, and some are pretty shitty. But there are a lot of quality work too, by people that knows their shit.

My girlfriend and her sister were with me on Devall Street in Key West in the early 90's and were talking about getting a tattoo. They were turned in listening to the music at one of the bars and I said "Oh shit you girls should get one like those chicks have!"

They turned to the side walk and laid their eyes on two heavily tatted 60ish year old gems, wearing string bikinis, with weathered skin from years of over exposure to the sun and lots of sagging skin smoking up a storm.

The look of terror on their faces said it all.

I said "I am sure they will look a little better on you when you turn 40 too! "

Needless to say, myself and doctor Bob were given the day free to carry out our drinking in peace.

No more tat talk from them..... We needed to do serious drinking to get that image out of our heads,

This was found is a brass scrap pile at a recycling place in Roanoke VA. Probably stolen and sold for scrap by some crackhead. If you know where is belongs please let me know and I will forward the message to the person that found it.

The first place it belongs is as "Exhibit A" at the recycling dealers trial.

You are assuming the RD wasn't the one that pulled it out the pile so it wouldn't get scraped maybe the RD bought it from the POS so the POS wouldn't cut it up and take it to another RD who wouldn't give a shit. All I am saying is the RD could be the hero in this.

Not surprised. They steal copper gutters from churches, copper pipes from A/C units, plaque dedicating local playgrounds, etc. I blame the recycling people - obviously stolen. In this case legs need to be broken.

Just like their "memes", or rather, pathetic attempts at such, the left is ALWAYS behind the trend... Conservative Twitter users and forum posters have already been posting this kind of thing WAY before she started. A for effort, Chewbacca, or however you pronounce that. Back to the drawing board though...

Any more details?
JP Sauer 38H. Production date late 1938 iirc. The PFC that brought it home was from upstate Ohio if I got all my facts correct based off his service number. I believe it was Cincinnati. It is a 32acp but does not have military acceptance stamps. Lot of German officers purchased their own handguns to have something small from my understanding, or it was just found laying around. Those are the details I wish I really knew. Had another one I sold a few months ago that didn’t have a bringback cert but was a good shooter.

At a minimum - if "the RD bought if from the POS so the POS wouldn't cut it up and take it to another RD", we should know the POS that sold it to the RD.

I mean the RD did get information from the POS when he bought it, right?

By the way, I know what a "POS" is. What is an "RD"?

You are making the assumption that it is illegal to purchase stolen goods wherever this was found. My company found out the hard way that the State of Florida has a law in place, pushed through by pawn shop and scrap dealers, that they are not liable for purchasing stolen goods.

Here’s the real kick in the nuts with this law. If you are the rightful owner and want your stolen goods back, you have to pay the pawn shop or scrap dealer to get back what is yours!! Let that shit sink in.
