I’ve been a woodworker and carpenter my whole life and I tell ya’, you cut wood for a living (cabinet shops, field carpenters on roofs, slabs, stacking, hanging fasciae boards, flooring (sub & hardwood, routers (of course?), jointers, shapers and powerfeeds (what a God send power feeds are big safety increases) been fairly lucky but even just smashing a finger with your hammer on a cold morning will hurt like blazes. It was hard to look at that injury because it hits close to home.

I'll just leave these here then..

Don't wear gloves with power tools. Glove snagged on a splinter, saw kicked the 2x and the glove pulled me in while it was spitting the 2x back.

My dad cut the tip of his index finger off with a saw a few years back. So I was talking to him on the phone while he was at the hospital. I told him "cutting the tips of your fingers off to make your dick look bigger is not a good idea", the room erupted in laughter. Apparantly, unbeknownst to me, I was on speaker phone.
Even the nurse laughed....
I've been around enough power tools while working construction to realize that
A: dont wear loose clothing
B: dont wear gloves, splinters are easy to take out....
C: stop stupid people from using power tools before they hurt themselves or others....
