I picked this up exactly two weeks ago, and while I’ve always wanted to try a Foundation and would love to keep this, it turns out I’d need to do some inletting to make my oversized recoil lug fit. It’s factory inlet for an Impact short action, but the prior owner (nexusfire here on the boards), relieved the pictured areas to make a Surgeon w/ Bix n Andy fit. I, on the other hand, would need to open the lug area up and I’m not willing to do that with a Dremel. :ROFLMAO: Anyway, I’ve decided I’d rather go with a Bravo and have a few hundred extra for glass. My loss is your gain!

I’m looking for $825 shipped Priority and insured, firm. Helleuva deal for a Foundation that’s got a little wear but is otherwise in excellent condition, plus bottom metal and the 3” bipod rail! Don’t forget that you can send this in to Foundation and they’ll freshen it up for you, so you’ll end up with a like new stock that will fit Impact, Surgeon, and most other R700 footprint actions for almost half off!

First “I’ll take it” posted in the thread gets it. Thanks!

Dremel baby Dremel!

Haha, not on the recoil lug area! I don’t trust myself that much, and that’s kind of an important one! That aside, as much as I want to hang on to this thing, I’d really like a Gen2 Razor and going to the Bravo will gain me a few hundred to put towards that. We’ll see, though!

Bump! The price includes bottom metal, bipod rail, and shipping/insurance (and it already has a Hoptic cheek rest cover, too!). At $825, that’s 41% off new!

Send it back to John-Kyle and get it corrected. Will be cheaper then you think I’m sure.

foundation is a hell of a lot nicer then a plastic Bravo.

Having owned a Bravo before, I’m 110% certain this is nicer. :ROFLMAO: Nothing wrong with a Bravo though, they’re a solid piece of kit! However, I can have a Foundation stock and a cheaper optic for this rifle, or I can use a Bravo for awhile allowing me to get some decent glass and actually use the rifle for now, upgrading to a better stock again later. Can’t have it all, I’m afraid!

Stock is sold to NWnewguy. Thanks, all!
