Using factory ammo and a backpack it shot just under a inch only put 100 rounds through it so it's barely broken in. Probably more potential with a better stock and support system.
Howa has a sub-moa guarantee and from what I seen people are able to get out these guns I don't doubt it.

Does it have the heavy barrel? It looks like it does but I am not sure from the pics.

It has the Howa 24inch heavy barrel yes.

Comes with the Talley 20MOA scope base and the surefire muzzle brake. Roughly 100 rounds through. Shoots great, was for a hunting rifle but I never got around to it. And moved on.

24inch threaded barrel with the factory Hogue stock.
Trigger has had spring coil cut mod, so trigger is tough lighter then stock but still very safe and crisp.

I built a rifle based on that same barreled action (Howa 1500 .308, 24 inch heavy barrel) and it shoots great. Had it out last weekend shooting steel at 800+ yards (with 168gr SMK hand loads).

Plenty of options for stocks/chassis available as well.
