Well played sir

although i live in san andreas country (california) i think i might be more nervous if i lived in the northwest in cascadia country.

Anyone ever experienced a full 8? If so, I bet it was a rough ride.

I was 60 miles east of the 7.3 one that hit Joshua Tree about 25 years back. Woke up with the bed gently rolling and wondered WTF? It hit me, earthquake, get outside. Before I could get out of bed I didnt have the option, the room was just bouncing about 3 feet up and down. . When I got to San Diego I looked al over til I found a ones tory frame motel. figured I could pus some shingles and 2x4's off but 100 tons of rebar and steel not so much. Id hate to be in an 8 as well.

I lived in Vallejo Ca, when the Lima Prieta earthquake hit in 1989. I was in 7th grade. I remember looking out the door of the school I was in and the ground was rolling like waves on the ocean. I was living about 15 miles from Napa when the earthquake hit there in 2014. Struck early in the morning, felt like the devil was kicking my bed. Earth quakes suck, they are unpredictable, I’ve been waiting for Ca to slide off into the pacific for 30 years.

That had to have been something to see.
