Arca plate

I have an old vortex nomad spotter that I would like to use with my shadow tech tripod (no need to carry 2 tripods around) can anyone recommend a arca plate I could use for a spotting scope?

Don't have the same spotter but you should check out the RRS BQDS plate. Use them on multiple devices.

For something small and light like a spotting scope, a $5 Amazon plate is fine. There really is no need to spend more.

That’s exactly what I did. Ended up getting s cheap $7 one from Amazon and it works just fine.
