Rifle Scopes Rudiger-Hildesheim Scope Info?

I have a new to me, vintage Rudiger-Hildesheim 4x81 scope that uses Suhler type claw mounts. I am looking for info on both the scope and mounts. After a several days on the internet I am not coming up with much, so I am reaching out to see if anyone here can provide information, or point to resources I might look at. In particular, I am interested in:

- The history of the company such as years of operation, product lines, markets, etc.

- Any method to date this scope (e.g.; by its serial number)

- Any method to identify possible military usage of a scope

- Any resource for identifying makers/vintage for the Suhler type claw mounts
