Looking to extend my LMT quad rail

Hey guys. I have an LMT .308 with a 20" barrel, and as you know, the rail is not interchangeable, and does not cover the gas block. I am looking for any way to extend the quad rail like 4" so I can put a bipod on it as well as a foregrip at the placement I prefer. I have another LMT upper with a 13.5" barrel, and I like the grip at the very end of the quad rail. I can't find anything like I am looking for, but maybe you guys know something I don't! I appreciate your time to respond.

I guess if your just using it as a bench gun that would do what you want.
I've watched quite a few reviews on it and it's quite easy to install and remove, so I could carry it with me pretty easy. Tiborasaurus Rex raves about it. This rifle is for mountain hunting/defense, so I need to hold steady as I look across ridges and into valleys. With uncertain positioning, I think the bipodext could be useful.

So LMT did do a extended rail For some of our troops who requested it over seas in the desert a few years back. I believe only less then 20 were sent to these guys.
