+1, I have a barrel on order after my friend purchased one and talked about how well the barrel ran. My biggest +1 on this is that they will always pick up the phone and help you out with whatever question or concern you have.

Nick is a fantastic person to talk with and with help you figure out what barrel fits your needs.

I've had the opposite experience and am pretty disappointed after hearing so many good things. I've been waiting for a response about an open order since April 24th and that was the third time I reached out after my order surpassed any expected lead time.

April 24th, this year? Did you call them or were you replying to the order confirmation email? I've noticed that if you email them by replying to the order confirmation email, they must have that filtered in some weird spam box because they don't get my emails either when I do that.

If you email them a fresh email to their contact-us link, I've always had them respond within a day. And I've always had them pick up when I called too.

Spent some time on the phone with Nick and got it all sorted. 🤙🏼Looking forward to getting my barrel in hand.

Yeah, April 24th of this year. I sent a fresh email to the email listed on the website.

I tried to contact them through the "contact us form" with questions about placing an additional order and never got a response. So I reached out again, this time to check the status of my order as it had been well passed the expected delivery date and that was on 04/25. I got a response back from Nick a few hours later that didn't address anything in my original email about the status of my open order, in which I immediately replied for clarification and haven't heard a peep since.

do any Savage prefits?
Yes we can make prefits for Savage rifles. Savage rifles use barrel nut.

However since we do not chamber Savage prefits with barrel nuts, we would need the action to do a bit of work to it so it could accept our shouldered prefit barrels.

Call with any questions ;) Straight Jacket Armory in Evanston Wyoming (307) 707-3181 Ext 1

I have one in dasher and it shoots awesome. I plan to order another very soon. Oh and they make prefits for kelblys. Probably the easiest to make since they hold tight tolerance for 30 plus years on their actions. Jus sayin.

No sir. We true the Rem 700's and remove a small amount of material off to square off the face of the action to accept shouldered barrels.

Thank you. I checked their website just before posting and didn't get to see that magical place you showed me.
