Gunsmithing Swapping action on custom build?

I have a 300 prc built on a 700 action. I love the gun but wished I would have upgraded the action on the build. Can I have the 700 action pulled and replaced with say a defiance or another 700 clone? Or is this a waste of motions? I hate to sell it and start over. I wouldn't change a thing on the build other than the action!

Headspace would more than likely be different and need to be addressed by a smith

shoot out the action then upgrade. no loss. just motivation to shoot more haha

not worth the money to set back, rethread, and rechamber the barrel

I know your right! Ive always run 700's. Recently i acquired a 6.5 creedmoor on a bighorn tl3 and it has ruined me!!!
