My charge master has served well but I want to upgrade to read to the kernel. My SD is around 7-8 I can cut it down in half by throwing a grain short and dropping in a kernel at a time to reach my optimal charge but that’s for the birds. What are your suggestions I’d like to keep it around the $1200.0 range for budget. Suggestions and where to buy it from?

search here for the V3 setup
It’s pretty slick.
You might get better ES with modifying your brass prep and load development than getting down to a grain.
I regularly get 4-6 SD on a 10-15 string with a Hornandy LNL.
I want a V3 because it’s faster and fast is good.

FX120 is not accurate to the kernel. It’s accurate to within three kernels: a kernel plus/minus a kernel. If you want accuracy to the kernel you need a Sartorius Entris 64 or equivalent.

I’ve looked at the fx120. I like them and have heard good things about them. Probably go with that. Everywhere I looked there is a waiting period

Dollar VS (perceived) benefit. As @Steel head pointed out, speed with accuracy is a huge benefit.

There are more accurate scales available. Again it comes to a dollar vs benefit.

I've seen people with 2 tricklers setups, and even seen a photo of 3 CMs in a single setup. Find what suits you, and go for it.

This is an interesting video
I actually got my Hornandy to almost never throw over charges but I make no argument it’s in anyway the just a good value start for many and It’s definitely the slowest.
