To clarify, there’s a universal mount that stays on you rifle. You unscrew the brake and this adapter let’s you the mount to the universal mount that stayed on you weapon. Make sense?

I have like 6 of these. I just want to make sure it's the correct thread pitch for my purpose.

Edit to add, this is the wrong piece. I'm sorry to waste your time. I should have looked closer before saying anything. I need the tapered mount.
