I don't get out as often as I would like to the range but when I do go and use a rifle with open sights I would like to have a spotting scope that I can check targets and see where the bullet strikes are (I would like one that I can use with my safety glasses still on). I would say that 90-95% of my range time will be at 100 yards but the range I go to has a 200 yard range and is working on a 500 yard range. The scope I am considering is the Vortex Diamondback 20-60 X 80 angled version as that is about the max I can spent at the moment on a spotting scope. Is the Vortex a good scope for what I am needing it for or is there a better scope for the same money or less?
