Cadex FIELD TACTICAL Top Rail on Curtis Axiom

Hello,

I would like to drop my Curtis Axiom into a Cadex field Tactical chassis, but I am not sure if the full-length top rail can fit the Axiom.
I mean the screw spacing, etc.

I don't find the information about the top rail spec on Cadex website either.
Please help me out.

Have you contacted Cadex? I believe the rail that comes with the chassis would just be standard Rem700 spacing. Typically I think you’d pick their Lite Competition chassis which is meant for actions with their own rail.
Worst case you would have to notch out the top of the forend tube to clear your axiom rail.

I managed to find a deal to get field tactical at lite comp price. So I prefer using field tactical if it's compatible with Axiom.

Isn’t the light comp the more expensive of the two? At least it is here in Canada.
As I said worst case you notch out the top of the tube to clear your factory rail. I’ve seen other people do it on the internet.

Sorry, I mean at field comp price.
lite comp is out of my price range. I can only choose between field comp and field tactical.

Is there a specific reason that you prefer the field tactical over the field comp? The field comp is cheaper, and it has a longer forend. Most importantly it looks like it’s meant for using the rail on your action so you won’t have to modify the tube on the field comp.

Also one thing I just remembered the field tactical is a design from before their forends were mlok compatible. I have an older Urban Strike and this is the case. If that’s important to you I would confirm with the seller.

I just want to try a different style. Currently, I am running MPA BA comp, field comp is too similar to the BA comp.

Fair enough. I have an Urban Strike and my sister has the field tactical for our Savages and we like them. I plan on getting a Lite Comp for an upcoming Tikka build. Great chassis.

Also keep in mind that you’ll have to buy their pre mlok bipod and picatinny rails for it. I don’t think their standard arca rail will mount to it but I could be wrong.

Mystery solved, the cadex rail doesn’t fit Axiom.
The screw locations of Axiom rail are not Remaining 700 spec.
I contacted someone tried to fit axiom into Cadex dual strike, the answer is NOT fit.

Even they display the build as this, they swap it to field comp eventually.
