I had a 7.62x39 come through my skylight a few years ago. Made it through the outer cover but not the inner.....kinda shocked. I patched up the outer with some silicon but the projectile is still there today. Great conversation piece for my out of town guests when they say "I heard Oakland is......"

Same thing here. Recently had a POURING leak come through the ceiling at work during a heavy storm. Contractor went up in the attic after I removed the ceiling tile below the leak. I stayed below. Soon we were looking at each other through the ceiling and he found a hole in the steel roof and decking that water was pouring in. Next he looked down and said, “Dang!” He reached down and picked something up and said, “Hold out your hand.” He then dropped a bullet through the ceiling into my hand. I immediately thought 7.62x39. Back home In the loading room I confirmed it, 124 gr to be exact.
