apple.news In short, the powers that be wanted signed witnesses for mail in voting so that you had to have some burden of proof when you filled out your ballot. Supreme Court basically came in and said, “no” you can’t require someone to have a witness when doing mail in voting or at least that was the gist I got from what little I could read. I’m not a subscriber either.

This anti-mail in ballot thing is stupid. More Rs will vote by mail (admittedly in normal, non-covid times) than Ds. I grew up in CO and went to college in OR -- I didn't vote in person until very recently after I moved out of state. It's not an issue, it one people want to be.
I've been making it a point to listen more frequently to NPR and some of the lefty talking heads. A week or so ago there was a lady (attorney representing a 501C Voter's Rights group) who was interviewed. Amongst the various questions and talking points covered was the need for mail in voting b/c of COVID. Deep into the show and after a commercial break or two she stated that her organization had been focusing on non English speaking Houston Hispanic and Chinese populations.
you voted by "Absentee Ballot" those years.... there is a verification process needed to obtain that ballot that is not present in this "Mail In Ballot" effort... You applied for "1" absentee ballot, just "1"... mail in balloting could provide you untold numbers of ballots that you could fill out.... there in lies the opportunity to cheat the legal and proper vote in this country... the fight is over that fact that they aren't the same method of voting

A friend of mine in Texas last week received a ballot to vote by mail in Iowa. He's never lived there or been to Iowa. Ballot showed up in the mail, unsolicited. Do you see a problem with that?
Its not about the legit ballots....its about the Communists going into every Alzheimers Home and harvesting ballots, its about checking the rosters and conveniently filling in a ballot for the person that didnt vote.
My town was having a local election with some division amongst the peeps on a proposal the lefties wanted.
As I voted I saw a woman sitting beside the roll taker checking off something on her pad. Never experienced that before.
I recognized she wasnt with the election people so I asked her "Who are you?".
She got all nervous and clammed up. I asked what she was doing and she directed me to someone else in the election area.
This second person, also nervous, explained that they were recording names of who voted and if they saw names they thought would be helpful to their effort but had not voted they would call them before the polls close and implore them to vote.
I was told this was okay by the town election commissioner.
I called the commissioner and of course never got an actual return call.
So much BS required when your ideas suck.
So, um recourse for blatantly trying to steal an election?

Wrong. ALL voting is done by mail in CO and OR since I’ve been voting (20yrs now).
I voted absentee in FL once when I lived there in ‘16. I voted in person for the first time in my life in ‘18 when I moved to IL.
Have fun sending that in. It won’t count, and your friend would be on the hook for a felony. They prosecute that in CO too.
It’s really not difficult to run an all mail election, especially if a state’s done it before. My only concern, and it’s not a big one, is how many states are going to be popping their mail in voting cherry all at the same time. But when Trump loses by 10m votes in Nov it’s not gonna be because of fraud. Look at the polls: Dems won’t need to steal anything when the Rs are performing so poorly.

That is standard roll calling and all organized campaigns I’ve worked on do it. You don’t know *what* people voted for, just *that* they voted and you’ve already ID’d them as a likely for your candidate/cause.
The really organized campaigns midway through the day start contacting their voters who haven’t shown up yet and ask how they can help them get to the polls. Give me mail-in any day over that.
Look at what has happened to CO and Oregon in that time frame.
Didn’t dodge shit — I said it wouldn’t count and it won’t. A couple thousand mail in ballots are rejected before they’re ever even opened because they don’t match the registration and signature and the cross check for other registrations, which is where his would likely be weeded.

A lot of lefty inclined voters moved in from other states and the Republican party turned on college educated voters in high college educated states. Same thing happened in VA. Mail in voting didn’t do that.

Over in our neck of the woods in some of the city elections the "ballot harvesting" fraud is epic.
Pretty much it doesn't matter who you vote for in some city races, it's who gets the most fraudulent votes in.
I would suggest from experience, that voter fraud of all types pretty much always helps the Democrats only.
You NEVER hear of some box of votes that was "found in a closet" at the school voting location swinging the vote to the Conservatives....
They will be blocking votes from conservative areas right at the post office probably, most likely just "loosing the mail" or throwing it away on purpose.

Tack on an amendment that allows gun buyers to use the same system, add on a e4473 and NICS for the sellor to call in, and we can order guns and have them shipped to our home without having to go to a brick and mortar store to do the transfer!

I got a theory about Biden.
My theory is that he is the candidate to shield him from prosecution. As dumb and senile as he is, he still knows where the bodies are buried. He is a shield for God knows who or how many others.
