I think it will become more common as November approaches. I wonder if it's an example of foreign countries such as China or Iran using social media to attempt to cause trouble. Doesn't seem effective in influencing the vote, more just to stir the pot. He started well, but now is just an obvious troll. I just hang out here on the Hide, but do some of you that visit other forums see these same kind of "influencers" there?
You can always avoid troll threads , just don't click on them or press back and ignore it if it bothers you . Life is grand that way don't want to support socialism in America don't support it , don't watch major league sports don't go to the games or buy the merchandise also don't buy major tech company products as both these companies and organizations are financially supporting terrorist in America no more apple or Microsoft . no baseball football or soccer or basketball choices have consequences and no Nike shoes . I think he's off base with a ton of shit, not necessarily trying to influence folks. Basically just new at being proud about his gun ownership and the implications of such. We're supposed to be welcoming to new members and whatnot, and honestly if 1911whatever were as bad as it ever gets I'd be happy. He seems like a family man who generally has his shit together, not exactly the archetype of a pot stirring shit heel. Tons of basically democrats have gotten interested in 2A and shooting sports lately, we should use it as an opportunity to lift the rest of the wool from their eyes. Not everyone is going to be a rootin tootin dyed in the wool patriot out of the gate, and that's ok as long as they aren't fucking pussies about it. Maybe that's all that is going on here.

I hear you, but at the same time he’s throwing a lot of red flags. He seems obsessed with the ability of his purchases to be able to be used, in his own words, for “close combat” or some version of that; he has mentioned it in many of his posts when he asks about a particular gun or round. To me that is a HUGE red flag, along the lines of some nefarious thinking. Just look at his latest one about a 50 cal, and now a mystery new join has popped up stroking his ego.

i am all about teaching new shooters and bringing more folks into the fold. however, i am careful to access folks’ intentions, and mental state. the problem i see with the leftists, is their complete willingness to commit violence against those they dont agree with. if that is their goal, i want no part of helping them down that path.
once i identify someone as suspect, i generally try to avoid their posts.

According to the stats at the bottom of the page, there are 154,756 users at the time of this post. The likelihood that several of them will be prolific twats at any given moment is unfortunately high. I mean, the grocery store might have 50 people in it and only 10-15 are in my immediate vicinity, and odds are good that one of them will be really fucking annoying.
I put him on ignore a couple days after he got here. There ought to be a feature that shows dipshits how many folks are ignoring them. Or a site list of ignored clowns.

I guess it seemed a little suspicious but in the year 2020 things aren't exactly normal so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. His posts in this thread definitely changed tenor. I guess I'm not out anything but a little advice. And my reputation of the Arbiter of all truth on SnipersHide took a minor hit too I guess

We won’t know it was him, but if you punch an Antifa idiot in the nose - there’s a possibility it was him. Unfortunately by the sound of some reports online - they very well may have some sniper teams coming as they ramp up their Marxist revolution. They are using the boiled frog system and gradually ramping up their violence. If they started with weapons to begin with, the National Guard would have been called out to stop them.
