Anybody reload 6 PRC?

What's a 6PRC going to do that a .243Win won't? I think meat won't know the difference.

6mm PRC is a wildcat, isn't it? More powder is only going to propel a bullet faster. At what would be considered "ethical hunting" ranges a .243Win will do everything a 6PRC will.

You do not describe what ranges/conditions/projectile(s) you intend to hunt deer/coyote, so I think a wildcat is an unnecessary complication over currently available commercial offerings at practical "hunting" ranges.

If you already have a 6PRC and you're looking for load data then I have nothing to contribute to your thread and I'll delete my posts.

I think it will be fast and a barrel burner that will be lucky to get 1k rounds down the tube. Not sure the juice would be worth the squeeze to me.

I think sending 115gr bullets around 3300fps sounds pretty awesome.

It's not a prc, but check out the sherman 6sst.
