They know they were following procedure.

Presented with what they had they did what needed to be done to ensure the safety of those that had decided not to take PCP that night.

With an awful situation they did the best they could......only one person is responsible for the outcome.....

Now they are refusing to be pawns and scapegoats......this is the way.

    I salute their courage.

He is about to bring hell upon himself from the left for not playing his role. How dare he?

    Curious for those officers here.

What would happen if a department was given the order to stand down for the looters/rioters "safety", and as a whole the officers told the Chief/Mayor to pound sand and went out and did their jobs as they swore to? What then?

They could be Disciplined for the dissent. Or fired and lose retirement. I don’t miss being at the Sheriffs Department. But I miss my team fiercely.

Honestly not sure, I’d hope my chief would tell the mayor (assuming the stand down order is from him) to piss off and tell us to do our jobs and protect the city.

I would rather see it the other way....
Blue flu for the entire force to remind them of the jobs they do and who they do it for.

What where the police supposed to do? A bag over the head or taser or beaten with nightsticks? WTF?
Let the local citizenry deal with the druggies who are running around the streets breaking shit. After all, it's what the protestors are demanding, zero police intervention.

Enjoy retirement officers, promptly move out of town before home values tank.

    Here is the problem:

Supposed "Police Misconduct" is the excuse for the riot.
Police let rioters attack the decent law abiding folks with impunity, even beating them to death sometimes.
Police then go arrest the few law abiding citizens that had to protect themselves because the police weren't doing anything.

    Kenosha anyone?

End result, the total collapse of the social contract of law and order as the rioters feel emboldened to reach for new heights of violence and destruction and the decent folks start seeing the police as worse than useless.

One could almost swear this sounds exactly like a movie we've seen before on the history channel.

Demonstrators call for the resignations of police hierarchy. Police hierarchy resigns. Demonstrators rejoice knowing their tactics worked. Never mind.

An elected Sheriff would tell the mayor to piss off, but an appointed chief not likely. Precisely why all these damn cities have appointed chiefs & a huge part of the problem. That needs to end!
Chiefs need to be elected by and accountable to the people.
This right here!!!^^ nuff said. Mic drop!

I heard the Mayor on way back from range today. What an idiot. However Rochester gets what they get. They have Voted for Dems for since 1973 as mayorAnd that was the only one since the end of 1961. So why expect different results. The machine is safely entrenched there.

I’m seeing a trend here. Hmmm. What could it be. Cities in shitter are anti Constitutional and very pro demo-Marxist. Nahhh. Can’t be....can it?

Too bad they can't be convinced to vote Republican. Even with everything that's going on they'll never see anything their fault... It's all Trump's fault dot-dot-dot because everything was perfect before he came along... LOL

    Think seriously on this:
People that live in large cities do it mostly by choice. They (most of them) have a totally different mindset than folks like us. They want to live on top of each other. They demand convenience with everything. They expect the gov't to provide assistance, transportation, education and direction.
They are totally self-centered. That's why Twatter, Fartbook, Dik-doc exist and continue to thrive.
Imagine having a life where you don't produce anything tangible. A life where you have a shitty, tiny apartment, no car, grocery carts with 4 casters (WTF?) and the only thing to look forward to each day is dinner and an hour at a crowded gym.

I would fucking shoot myself if I had to live like that. What blows my mind is how many young girls dream of a life in places like NYC.

Has anyone been to Rochester? What a fucking POS place it is. If it weren't for Kodak's R&D center and the University and their optics program, it would be just another shithole small city.

I almost accepted a full ride to graduate school there in the 80's. Went to visit thankfully and politely turned it down....Shithole then and by the looks of it, an even bigger shithole now

Both have a very dim view of the 2nd amendment
Yeah, I don’t like either of them. Crenshaw is all in on Red Flag laws & Tulsi is a Dem.
I wasn’t even aware of this unity ticket till the other night. I asked a very smart Lib friend how the hell he could vote for Biden. Asked him to name 1 thing that would get better if he won. Crickets, he just hates trump and has been drinking the Brawndo for so long he cannot think his way out (proof it’s a disease). He’s then told me about this unity ticket & he thinks they’re going to draw a bunch of votes from Biden.
We need to start a 12 step program to help libs detox from the Brawndo! Don’t know if it’d be possible as lng as fake news is allowed to continue unchecked!

Yes. Which is odd when you listen to Crenshaw. He's talked about how the government and processes need reformed, and the constitution followed. Then he turns around and falls in on the red flag crap.

Insert pretty much any politician known to man, that does the exact same thing. I remember well where Trump states your 2A rights will no longer be under attack and blah blah. And they haven’t necessarily been under attack like they would have been otherwise but he didnt make the strides towards helping further the 2A that I had hoped either. I was really hoping at a minimum that the HPA would be passed and we got nothing on that front. But make no mistake I still like the man and will vote for him again. The enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of deal. I think Trumps heart is in the right place based on what I’ve seen to. I think he genuinely wants to help. So I will gladly vote for him again. How anyone can vote for Biden is beyond me. Dude has been in office 49 years. Let that sink in. It’s time for him to go.

Can you imagine the problems that would have occurred if Trump tried to push Pro 2nd Amendment issues? All he's done his entire first term is trying to defend and protect himself against vicious attacks. There's been zero time for positive Second Amendment growth..

The only way we'll ever see any positive Second Amendment stuff is if we remove every single Democrat in office dot-dot-dot local, County, State included.

First, you arrest the criminals. (City Hall).

Let them share cells with their downtrodden peaceful protesters.

The name of this program is not "Scared Straight".

    It's called "Scared Sh*tless".

Then, you do the job they taught you at the academy.

We do some business in the Rochester area. Many of the outlying suburbs have some really nice communities. Most of the city itself......not so much.

Rochester is being strangled by the shitstain Democrats and King Kocksucker Cuomo. They can't ruin this state fast enough.....all the while believing they are the greatest thing going.

I’m not so sure. The City Council of Seattle and Portland and Minneapolis are all elected, the prosecutors letting Antifa go are elected. When the society is already broken down and full of fucktards they will vote for anarchy and destruction.

I know enough about city schools to tell you definitively that the problem is the students. The problem with American cities are the terrible people who live there. Not all, but that’s where all the worst people generally reside. More democracy will not solve that. I’m beginning to see the Wisdom of The League of Shadows.

The Dems are creating Trump voters faster than Trump can.

I went to a Rochester tv news facebook page the other day after the riots there and had a few lively conversations with a few of the folks up there. All I can say is that those lefty/commies up there are just fucking crazy, and deserve everything that happens to them. Good on the police officers for standing up for what they swore to do, having the morals and convictions to follow through with it, and keeping their souls in tact. I wish every one of them good luck.
