Folding stocks, why?

While I am not sure why anyone would NOT want a folding stock, it is important to consider the quality of the folding mechanism. Most quality chassis make this not an issue, but there is always some cheap POS that will rattle on you.

I’ve always looked at folding stocks with such envy. The 300 win mag rides to the range with the end hanging out of the Tacops bag. Im too cheap to buy the manners folder or a dedicated looong bag
