Rifle Scopes Mil-XT or Tremor 3?

I need to buy a scope for my 308, and I’ve narrowed my search down to the NF ATACR 7-35 F1. Now I need to decide on a reticle. It gets pretty windy where I live, so the T3 is pretty intriguing with its’ wind dots, but how useful are they in real world scenarios? Are they actually something people use, or are they just hype? How effective is this reticle at ranging targets? Before I spend the extra coin on this reticle, I want to make sure the features I’m paying for are actually useful, and not just fluff. Otherwise I’ll just save a few hundred bucks and order the Mil-XT version.

have you looked through a scope with either reticle yet? If not that's a good first step, Horus also has a interactive demo where you can use the T3 in a "live demo" online. Its not like using it in person but gives some good "feel of it" for $0.

I’ve looked through the Mil-XT, and it seems nice. I just don’t want to feel like I’m missing out on anything if the wind dots and other features of the T3 are actually useful. Like I said it gets pretty windy out here, so that feature intrigues me. Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to play with the demo when I get a moment.

Horus reticle cost extra even though NF bought them. At least they used too, could have changed or it could only be in non NF scopes. But the XT is still better.

for sure, its not quite like a real scope at the range, demo seems a bit glitchy at times, but nonetheless is a good tool to visually walk-through the reticle and use it in a firing scenario the demo provides.

I tried the Tremor3 a few years back, probably did not give it enough time to work because the busyness of the reticle bothered me every time I brought it to my eye. The Mil-XT is a well executed tree reticle that helps with wind holds without being messy.
