My friend and I now run a monthly rimfire match doing the NRL22 CoF + bonus stages. Covid definitely sucked but now the matches are up and running again. We're trying to get new shooters involved, and not scared away from folks running Vudoo's and high end scopes, etc. I'm working on building up a base class rifle and want to loan it out to new shooters who are interested in trying out the sport.

    Goal is
    Bushnell Match Pro ($449 MSRP)
CZ 457 Pro Varmint ($588 MSRP) or RAR LRT ($599)

Anyone have a lead on either rifle?

    Thank you!

Any interest in a small step up, CZ 455 VPT threaded barrel, tan manners stock, timney trigger?
He’s looking for a rifle that fits within the base class rules for NRL22. That means that rifle and scope have to have a current, combined MSRP of less than $1050, which means $550-650 for the rifle to have a half decent scope, and that it has to be a model which is still manufactured, so that the current MSRP is available to check.

It’s intended as a loaner rifle at our NRL22 club matches, so something adjustable for youth shooters is also ideal. The Boyd’s At One CZ 457 Pro Varmint would be ideal, if we could find one.

I think the rules are too restrictive, frankly, but they are what we have to work with.

If you are running the match, would anyone mind that you put a newbie in Base? I loan out a T1x in ATone and put them in Base, because they are beginners. Sept. match the newbie went 5/5 at 190 on a rabbit steel at 190yds, for a bonus stage.
