I recently got into hand loading for my 300 win mag and 300 Norma. I bought 300 rounds of factory gold medal match in 300 win mag and have shot it all and I’ve started reloading it. I’m using Winchester magnum primers and have noticed that they go in really easy. When inserting primers in my 300 norma (norma brass) it takes about 3x the pressure to fully seat. Is this something I should be concerned with? I can push the primers in more than half way with my fingers. All my gold medal brass is the same.

Is this Peterson Brass any good?
I was using Hornady brass but have switched to Norma. It is definitely a step up from Hornady and you can find it from time to time. Brownells has been getting it in recently.

Thanks guys. I ordered a bunch of Peterson. Is there a difference in accuracy between the Peterson and federal. I already threw out 20% of the Fed that I have due to neck thicknesses not being concentric. Should I shoot the fed some more or use my Peterson instead?
