I’m new to the group and there maybe already be a thread on this, if so please forgive me. I’m looking at getting a manners t4a. I’ve heard a lot of people saying the grip to trigger length is a little long. I’m 6’2” with average sized hands. My question is am I gonna have any problem with having to reach for the trigger or is gonna be pretty easy for me to get a comfortable grip and still reach the trigger comfortably. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

im about the same height and own a t4a team and I can't see how any normal person would find the stock trigger position ideal. I was unaware of this when I ordered mine - If I were to buy another I would absolutely have the trigger moved back about a half inch to give me a 90 degree position

I have a T2A and have no issues with proper trigger pull. I have normal sized hands. I think some people are trying to grab all around the grip area like an AR instead of a less aggressive grip putting less force onto the rifle.

Post where you are and maybe someone close will have one you can try.

I have an eh5 and a t4a and the t4a is much different - I have zero complaints about the placement of the eh5 but the t4a is not ideal

Yeah, I talked to Manners today and they were a lot of help. They did say they could move the action back a little to help with that if I wanted. I just wasn’t sure if I needed to or not but it sounds like I might want to move it back just a little for a better feel

Thanks for the info!

I had my Tikka in one for a while. Now that I think about it, the trigger length was a little long, but I wasn't trying to grip it like an AR like already stated.
I didn't have any issues maintaining a 90° trigger finger. I'm 6' with normal 6' guy sized hands.

I have a Manners T4 and the closest comparison I have to it dimensionally is a Greyboe Renegade.
I am also 6'2" and hav3 zero complaints regarding the issue you ask3d about.
Distance from trigger face to upper grip T4 is 2" Greyboe is the same.
The only issue I could see someone complaining about it is if you have little rat claw hands.
