Give Trump credit.

Easy thing to do would have been nothing.

Who even knew we had a hostage over there.

Could you imagine the drum beating if the mission went FUBAR and a bunch of SEALs and a hostage were killed?

Reality the peeps that did the mission have the real balls but good thing someone is willing to let them do their good works.

Cant wait to read the book on this next week.

I got mixed feelings about risking US military lives to rescue US citizens who choose to live overseas in a shithole country at their own will. Some US citizens on vacation in a non shithole country that get taken hostage that's another story........

Where the fuck was the Calvary Cavalry to rescue US citizens stuck behind CHAZ or CHOP who didn't want to be their on US soil or didn't want their homes or business burned to the ground by domestic terrorist........

I understand your reservations but a no BS we will do our best to shit on you if you mess with a US citizen abroad is a sound policy that could prevent additional shenanigans.

Seems like abetter use than having them fight endless, pointless wars to keep money flowing into pockets. Lets also think, our policy of sucks to be you makes them a target. A policy of do it and we kill all of you, makes it a much less attractive proposition.

What is the military for if not to protect U.S citizens?

It would be interesting to see who the person rescued is related to.

I never want to dispatch any troops for anybody who decides to go camping in some foreign land who is our sworn enemy , they took a chance on life and should face the results. Nows theres two types of these people , very blinded liberals with no clue and government plants which we never know . One is a asshat and the other a Patriot on a mission and therefore deserves rescue.

I have never met a seal, but I Imagine they probably got a fucking boner when their CO said “hey guys we get to go kick in some doors and shoot some motherfuckers in the face and save a US citizen”. Guys, this is what they do, they train for this and I assume eat this shit up, this IS their job and they love their job, that’s why they do it, and I for one love that they love shooting evil motherfuckers in the face for us!
