Took the Nielsen Device off of my 45K to change it over to a 1/2' x 28, and it was then that I noticed that not one, but both O Rings on my suppressor are torn. This has had to of happened last time I fired the suppressor with my Mark23. Anywho, how important are these O Rings and what are they intended to do? I would like to get some range time with a few 9mm's tomorrow as I have an unscheduled day off. I went over to Silencer shop to try and buy new O rings, but wouldn't you guess. Out Of Stock:mad:. What has me worried is how easily the Nielsen Device slid onto the adapter. Usually you have to fight to get the nit over the Nielsen device. But without either O Ring, it just slid right on. Also, come to think of it. The Mark23 fired very gassy last time. Probably has a lot to do with these torn O rings, eh?

Readily available in bulk on AMZN. Unfortunately, I don't know the size that your can takes, so I can't point you at the correct P/N. IIRC, you want Nitron/High temp.
I am presuming that it's safe to shoot without those O Rings? I honestly think that they are only there to help with the gas leakage from the suppressor. But I am far from an engineer.
