Most if not everyone here has seen the Biden/Harris anti-gun agenda.
In my own personal belief, unless they take the Senate, they will be hard pressed to do any bans or taxes.
However, one thing that troubles me, it would be very easy for the incoming administration to take the steps as they want to to stop the online/mail order sales of ammunition and gun parts. In my opinion, it would be hard to challenge such administrative action in the courts, whether it being an executive order, BATFE ruling, etc.
If this would occure, it would cause long term shortages, and/or even higher prices, and nothing unlike the temporary (we hope?) shortages we have seen during the last few elections.
Who here remembers having to buy ammo from a dealer back in the 80's at what we now consider inflated prices. Unless you only shot 22LR or reloaded back in the day, it was cost prohibitive to shoot as much as many of us do these days.
Other than wearing out a barrel or extractor, I've yet to break or loose any parts from any of my firearms in the decades that I've been a firearms owner and shooter. But in today environment, I find myself ordering and stocking up on spare parts, especially for the AR platform since I consider them a high usage/wear item.
Should have listened to Jerry and bought more ammo, even though I thought I had enough.
