The G10 are stripped down comp chassis, and have also seen a lot of use in SF units. . The McRee BR15 are more finished looking. Good thing there are many choices out there.

Note you may have an issue with the forearm lengths. I have the extended forearm.

Fine with it being flush to my suppressor at 18” is it folding?

It is 18 inches right from the action to the end of the forearm. It likely would be too tight. But it does have an I.D. of ~1.45 inches

Do they make a ESS folding adaptor now? I thought you had to buy the whole folding buttstock if you wanted to switch....

I have an AIAX in FDE, but V-22 mags are not going to work in it.

I thought they were made to fit? Is there a certain action/chassis for AI (maybe r700) that is needed?

AICS would work. AX mags have a lip at the top that makes them unique.

I believe the measurement is for the total length and not from the recoil lug

Sure enough. Maybe they have a solution to make V-22 mags work in the AX?

I have a used but solid AIAX in FDE. I’ve used this chassis in competition for 3 years, so it has some wear, but is in excellent shape. It has the RRS plate and RRS full length rail.
