Rifle Scopes Vortex viper next release?

When will vortex release a new viper based on past release history.

Im about to pull the trigger on something in this $ range but seems like this has been out for a few years?

I have thought the same thing, minus the PST gen 2, the rest of the lineup is mostly the same as it has been for over 5 years. I have no information, but a good geuss would be 2021 at the earliest as we are already well into the holiday season. They kinda missed the boat on launching in 2020.

Hard to say, everyone has been expecting new PST and Razor for awhile now. The nice thing about the PST is since it's been out so long the MSRP discount is pretty nice. Almost 40% off MSRP if you shop around, meanwhile their newer scopes like the Strike Eagle 5-25x is almost 90% of MSRP everywhere. So *IF* a new PST came out it might run a lot closer to their $1300 MSRP for awhile, and in that case if a new PST street price is say $1100+ instead of $800 are there better options at or close to that price point? To me one of the best things about the PST II right now is they can be found in the $700-$800 range.

What about the rest of the viper line? They do not even have a gen II for the rest of the stack down from the PST (mainly looking at HS-HST, normal viper is a 1 inch tube vs 30 mm for the rest of the line). In my mind these are due for an upgrade before the PST gen II, but the PST is what gets all the attention because everyone has to be tacticool. I agree on the Razor, they launched the 1-10 gen III, so there is likely something in the pipeline to replace the 4.5-27 gen II.
