Whats up guys I have a tikka t3x with the varmint barrel, I want to do a direct mount spuhr with a gen 2 razor 4.5-27. What height should I go with, 1.73" or 1.38"? I want to do 24 MOA mount as the ewg rail I currently have is 20 moa.

why do you want to go direct mount? not exactly the most useful down the road for switching setups and def not for weight savings like is typical for direct mount in hunting scenarios

I figured it would be more durable, and I could check the torque on the base, I couldn't do that with the scope mounted on this egw rail. An instructor at this fieldcraft course told us he checks torque on everything every 100 rounds or so

that's a little excessive

not sure where you could make an argument for more durable.

you already have a high quality rail. get a regular spuhr and you'll be fine. you can move it around to other rifles etc

mill ejection port? why?
