Knife shipped from 40 miles away, 1 day express last Saturday.
Arrived today.

Friend ordered a pelican 1850 case and paid $35 extra for 2 day delivery.
A 3 days later he called the shop
They said they had not yet shipped the case so no tracking was available
he said why did I pay $35 for 2 day delivery?
They said they would ship it 2 day sometime in the next week or 10 days.
yes- he cancelled the order

UPS left a “signature required” box on my wet front step yesterday.
No idea they came by.
Happened to have my personal email open on my work computer dealing with stuff from my kid’s school and saw it was delivered.
Knife was signature required too.
It was in my box at the cluster.

I placed an order on Monday evening and chose the cheapest shipping because the item is not needed until after the first of the year. The estimate for arrival was for the 24th so all was good. The item was on the front porch yesterday evening when I arrived home.
When you don't have to have it. It shows up early. When you really want/need it. It's a crap shoot
