    The occupied states of America
I truly believe trump cares about his supporters, and I'll admit that I'm not nearly as connected or in the know as some on here. Why hasn't there been a peep out of potus regarding the all-out assault on conservatives over the past week?Granted, it's been going on for a while, but it has ramped up exponentially in the last week.

My assumption is he played his last hand and it failed. So he’s in his lame duck period of his term so what’s the point. I mean he’s already being impeached for a second go round to make sure he can never hold public office again.I assume because they are afraid he will come back after this Biden administration and win in a land slide. But this is just speculation on my part.

Um, the senate has to vote to impeach him. And it’s not going to happen in what 6 days. This is nothing but the left doing the same stupid shit they always do. Trump will be able to hold office again, now whether he wants to or not is a different story.

I realize it’s not going to actually happen. But that was from my perspective the initial plan. They wanted to rule him out completely in the future. If given a second run I think he would run again. Regardless of how poorly he was treated or that they tried to stifle him at every turn

Well first off, Trump is neither Conservative nor Republican. He's an NYC Democrat who ran as a Republican. Changing the letter after your name doesn't change who you are. Just look at Cenk Uygur. Second of all, he's clearly got NPD and while he does love the attention his supporters and the media give him, the number one person in his life will always be himself.

Trump is more useful out of office, in my opinion.

we are in a culture war...conservative voices are being censored....Trump has the followers, and he has the money to create conservative platforms to give us back a voice.

Trump has the means to create his own news network, that actually presents the truth......i mean hell, i was talking to family who genuinely believed BLM riots were peaceful, and didnt know anyone was killed or property was destroyed....i mean, they are fucking retarded, but also, if you go based on what MSM tells, why would you believe anything different.

we need to shine a light on the truth.....get Project veritas reporters main stream...

once we start fighting back in the culture war, the rest will follow.....

but right now we need money, and someone willing to fight back.

You guys who think he's coming back in four years are delusional.

If they stole it and nobody stopped them this time do you honestly think, four to eight years from now, he's going to be in a better position?

It's all or nothing right now. You'll know if it's over or not on the 20th.

How would you even know if He peeped or not. They have a total blackout on him. I am surprised the ground at Arlington is not quaking from soldiers rolling in their graves. Is this the Country they died for anymore? The Commies are spitting on the Constitution and the graves of these Patriots. It sickens me.

He has already been impeached for the second time. The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate to convict, and the penalty for an impeached official upon conviction is removal from office. In some cases, the Senate has also disqualified such officials from holding public offices in the future. There is no appeal. Since 1789, about half of Senate impeachment trials have resulted in conviction and removal from office.

Trump has the entire White House communications office at his disposal. Any message he wants broadcast he can - and he can ensure that it gets to OAN or Newsmax or who ever. He may have lost Twitter etc, but really he could speak if he wanted to.

I feel like people are waiting for him to do something grand. He is but one man. I assume he is waiting for his supporters to do something grand.

At a certain point, one can only do so much and eventually call it.

When the press just spent that last 6 months embracing the burning of cities, and calling these riots protest and labeled the events at capital hill a full blown coup attempt, There is really nothing he can do at this point. Even republicans are going along with the main stream narrative.

I mean, the majority of kids in DC can't even read their own names but orange man is bad yo.

I abhor the stupidity and violence of the BLM and other protests. As soon as they went from "marching" to "vandalism" ... they lost me. That said, there's a whopping big difference between a protest that breaks windows to occupy the local CVS ... and an organized riot that desecrates and occupies the national Capital in an attempt to halt a constitutionally mandated task associated with the peaceful transition of power. One is illegal and represents a danger to the neighborhood. The other is sedition and represents a danger to our democracy. To compare those two as equals demonstrates a false-equivalence that's both remarkable and troubling. And that's all I'll say about that ... since the last time I gave an opinion like this, I was repeatedly and angrily "violated". (Although the guy that told me to go have gay sex with Hillary Clinton did make me laugh a bit.)

I agree that the two demonstrations are different. BLM took their fight to the streets and destroyed/stole private property. What happened on the 6th is angry citizens taking their grievances straight to the source of their problem. I support any march on DC, peacefully if possible but better be prepared to fight for your rights and your country.

I would say that there is a big difference

In one case the actions of a State result in the death of a citizen in the community. That community as well as countless other communities across the nation, promptly decide to loot and burn countless private businesses that had no role in the states abuse of authority. This was widely applauded by not only the main stream media where statements such as, where in the constitution do protest have to be peaceful, but by a majority of elected democratic that had no problems fanning the flames with racist rehtoric.

In the other case, A sizable group who has an issue with the most powerful group of criminals in the country who are responsible for more theft and death than any other group in the country and decides to enter capital hill and have there voices heard. Of the mostly peaceful protest, of around 50k, maybe a few dozen Qanon/antifa types pick a fight and get a few people killed killed

In regards to one representing a danger to the neighborhood vs our democracy, I would pose the question, what democracy? The democracy that allows states like NY heavily infringe on constitutional rights, where the USSC refuses given any level of redress. The Democracy that has no issues putting Martha Stewart or Aunt Becky in federal prison but refuses to prosecute any of the most corrupt officials in the country.

At this point, our democracy on exist in order for the acquisition of power and wealth of the ruling class.

Personally speaking, I would have no emotion of the that building was burnt to the ground.

I think at this moment he is trying to figure out what to do after the 20th. Looking for a safe haven, possibly without extradition. The left hates him and will do all they can to destroy the man as soon as possible, in anyway possible. Could they give him up to the international court to face trial in Iran (who put out a warrant for him)? Wouldnt surprise me a bit with their sick agenda.

After all this I cannot imagine he would want to run again, perhaps the worst decision he ever made was to run this time, look what its done to his life.

I hesitate to use the word "retard", largely because it denigrates the mentally disabled who function at an exponentially greater level then this post would imply.

I do, however, agree with your point that the two acts:

    A. communist BLmarxists burning private property to address a grievance with the government

    and

    B. citizens of the Republic seeking redress of their grievances on public property with those who govern present

    ....are not equivalent.

Unless I am grossly mistaken, we do not elect liquor store owners, CVS or Target stores to oversee the operations of Law Enforcement or the elections of public employees including but not limited to Federal Senate, House, State Senate or House, Governor, Sheriff or even Dog Catcher.

There was one fatality. A veteran named William Hashka, from Chicago, was caught in police fire near the US Capitol.

After it was all over, the authorities involved gave their reactions. President Hoover released a statement on July 28, in which he twice referred to “so-called bonus marchers,” and added, “An examination of a large number of names discloses the fact that a considerable part of those remaining are not veterans; many are Communists and persons with criminal records.”

MacArthur added, “It was animated by the essence of revolution.” He added that only about 10% of the men driven away from the camps were actually genuine veterans.

On July 29, Vice President Charles Curtis was making a speech in Las Vegas, when hecklers raised the events in Washington. Curtis shouted back, “You cowards, I’m not afraid of any of you.”

Also on July 29, General Glassford denied that he had wanted the troops to clear out the camps, or that his police couldn’t have handled the situation peacefully, before violence broke out. He also blamed the removal order for causing all the trouble, and had opposed the use of troops.

As for the newspapers of that day, the Associated Press released a list briefly describing their editorial reactions. Out of 30 papers, 21 more or less supported the government’s response. The Ohio State Journal, of Columbus, Ohio, for instance, wrote: “President Hoover chose the course that Lincoln chose, that presidents have always chosen.”

On the other hand, the Chicago Herald and Examiner, referring to President Hoover by name, called his actions “sheer stupidity” that were “without parallel in American annals.”

Four years later, in 1936, the veterans did get their bonus, when Congress voted the money over President Franklin Roosevelt’s veto. In 1944, while World War II was still raging, Congress passed the G.I. Bill, to assist veterans in receiving a higher education.

Someone explain to me how he can be impeached and removed from office twice when he hasn't been impeached and removed the first time .
He has been impeached twice in the house but so far has never been to trial in the senate .
If it didn't go to the senate the first time ,then to me the first impeachment is NULL AND VOID !

The "trial" was when Pelosi was encouraging people to go to Chinatown for dinner.....

Jan 31, 2020Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), a House impeachment manager, announced Friday that he would not attend the "conclusion" of President Donald Trump's Senate trial,

Monday, February 24, 2020 SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a point of taking a walk through San Francisco's Chinatown on Monday to show that it is safe

    Impeachment is different from removal.

Just because he wasn't kicked out doesn't undo either of his impeachments...

Yes, I know. That’s what I’m saying. But, they won’t get the vote, so no conviction and therefore he can run for office again, if he so chooses. In other words, impeachment without conviction is largely just symbolic, it carries no weight.

Correct. A stain on his reputation, but unless the Senate votes to kick him out its fairly harmless.
    See William J. Clinton....

If I were Donald Trump, I would add the line "only president to be impeached twice in 1 term and still serve out entire term" (or something similar) on business cards, stationary, email signature and any other official correspondence.

Why are they so afraid of a man who is supposed to be gone in a few days?

If Trump used any official site or account to say what he would say on twitter. They would accuse him of abuse of power for using official sites for politics. They would attack no matter what.

IMHO They want to incite Trump supporters into doing something they can use to permanently crush them with the full power of Govt.

It’s exactly this! Let’s hope all these capitol protests in all 50 states on 1/20 are peaceful. If they aren’t, it plays right into their hands. But one does wonder what people do when all legal avenues and players have been used and/or players fail to do their jobs? Where do you go? What do you do? The upper echelons as stupid as many may seem are very good at strategy.

    That already happened on 1/6

History will record it as a stain on Congress.

Wouldnt bet on that. The left will rewrite history to serve their narrative. Remember, "History is written by the winner."

    That already happened on 1/6
Not exactly. That was the left starting up a phony narrative to push what they want. Whether they did it purposefully or not is anyone’s guess but I know where I lean. With that said, it should be pretty obvious to anyone that that was a set up and a half. Why? Because they keep labeling it some kind of violent insurrection lmao. That’s complete BS. If it was actually what they claim then that would make it the worst attempt in history and the fact that they are calling it as much is laughable. That would mean that over 1,000,000 people announced they were coming, 99% of them unarmed and peaceful. If that was some attempt at Insurrection and even better yet a defense against it by fed forces then any foreign gov might as well just come over here and invade because clearly we are nothing to fear, at all. I really don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this but if anyone cannot see this for the set up that it is then I have a UFO for sale. I’ll take $350,000,000,000 which is quite a steal for this tech.

It is good that some of you are finally realizing what I have been telling you for the last three months. It was never about you, always about him. He is an orange toad and too many people have been kissing him looking for miracles.

I do disagree with Rusty on the difference between the kinds of vandalism. I think both are abhorrent and inexcusable, BUT, the destruction of a small business, of a corner bodega or whatever is much more of an assault on what this country means than is breaking windows in the capitol. The destruction of a small business is a direct attack on the ideas of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, while the other is simply an attack on the mechanisms that are supposed to safeguard those rights. Don't get me wrong, the capitol riot was monstrous for many reasons, but it doesn't rise to the level of destroying somebody's life work and future.

Except in Trump's case, he appears to have surrounded himself with the people that previously ran the company into the ground. Then he fired these people or antagonized then into quitting, and repeated the process all over again.

Either this is some masterstroke of applying the idiom "...keep your enemies closer", or he's too incompetent to run something bigger than one of those Subway counters at the local gas station. I'm baffled.
