Had a lot of mornings like this at 11-12k ft in CO over the years.
up at 0400, skinning up some drainage and hill by 0500.
enjoy the sunrise with a snack and cup of jet black coffee and ski down.
Would even do this and report to work at 1000 at the ER at the base of the ski hill.
nowadays I ski groomers in-bounds and play cards with cocoa for the “warm you toes” sessions.
both are great parts of life, and the part where I share it with my daughter is for sure the best.
Did a lot of backcountry tele skiing and snow camping with my youngest son over the years. We were only at 7-9k, though. :) Snowboarded on groomed with him and my daughter and granddaughter until my knees gave out. Enjoy it while you can; they grow up and you grow old. Take lots of pics.

I got about half the firewood at my old house loaded to take to the farm.

Everything is pretty much loaded from the house. The tools, equipment and such is already at the farm. Plan to take the rest tomorrow and come back for the firewood.

I don’t ever want to move again.

Trailer is 7x12 on the inside.
Oak is 3-6 seasons old.
Just cant leave it....was too much work.

Moved in November. Hopefully, last stop before the Lord calls me home. Amazing how much "stuff" you can acquire over (16 for me) the years.
