Red dot or LPVO on AK74?

Red dot. The mounts are better and adequately sturdy. You don't need the chin weld (at best) with a red dot. The weapon platform is great and accurate enough for man sized targets at the limit of your unmagnified vision. Once you put magnification on an AK it becomes very apparent how spoiled we all are by average AR accuracy, and then you're disappointed with it.
Depends on the accuracy of the gun and your purpose for it. I had a VEPR that would shoot 1.5MOA with Hornady SST's. It was much harder to get that with a RD over a LPVO.

Is the master mount good or should I stay away and only go with RS regulate? Finally, what distance are you guys sighting them in? Pretty sure my irons are at 25-27yds. It’s been a long time since I’ve even shot this thing. What red dot you thinking? Aimpoint?
