IMR 4198 for 6.5

The thing you run into with heavier bullets here, is no case fill with that fast of a powder. With a 107gr bullet, even close to max, you are at 86% case fill, go heavier and it drops fast.

Go on castboollits dot com and see if someone will trade you for 4350. 4198 is too fast for the CM but perfect for cowboy cartridges they’re fond of over there.
Thanks guys, you rock! I actually just found H4350 and H4895 at my local sporting goods store today! Who would of thought during these times. My next question is I cant find any loading data for 6.5CM with a small rifle primer. I have a couple hundred Lapoua 6.5cm brass with small rifle primer pockets. Anyone have any experience with this. Interweb isn't helping much, I'm reading, been told to be aware of what primers you use; magnum, small pistol, large pistol, large magnum pistol....case energy being the variable to be careful, mindful of. Thanks ahead of time for helping out us new to the rifle reloading game.
I appreciate the info. I really like the 4198 for my .223 so i'll hold on to it and load those with that powder. Thank you for helping me out.
