Night Vision SkeetIRx Pic Download Software

Interestingly, I’ve never downloaded images. I still have testicles, so I use a PC with Windows 10 LTSC. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

Might be software on that SD card they include with the accessory kit.

Oh, I see .. you're from the other side of the tracks. Here I was thinking you were a majestic creature with all the fancy kit. You've been downgraded a notch...

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. They're for sure different HW, but the download protocols may be the same.

@Hootiewho Think you have downloaded pics from your Skeet, right?

I did for the first time a few days ago. I never got my accessory pack/disc when I purchased my Skeetirx, but I did have a spare usb cable and had the old software from when I had a UTMx. The pack was suppose to come later on after my skeet but never arrived. I used parallels/windows on my macbook and it worked. Prior I had just been taking screenshot. If you have the disc and can go the parallels/windows route it should work.

....the remote power Lemo cable. That thing is a god send.
I'm new here and found this post while searching for information on powering my UTMX via the I/O port. I was curious if this Lemo remote power cable you are referring to is just the standard USB to Lemo that comes in the UTMx base kit, or if it's another critter altogether? My kit came with 2 cables (Lemo to BNC and Lemo to USB).

As an important side question are the Skeeter and UTMx cables interoperable?

Any information you can provide, especially several pictures of the remote power Lemo cable ends/pins/connectors would be helpful to one of my projects connecting my UTMX to remote display devices. If you have a part number for this cable that would be great too!

I have added pictures below of the USB to Lemo cable I have. The video cable has the same 7 pin Lemo (FHG.0B.307) connector as the USB on one end and a standard BNC video connector on the other.

Holy crap, dude!

Your hands look like you actually do an honest day's work for a living.

Like you could rough-sand a Buick with those mitts. Dayum!

My soft hands could be a poster for the soy-drinking, gender fluid crowd. Costanza-style!

I realized I didn’t actually answer your question.

Yes, all SkeetIR / UTM / UTC cables are identical / interchangeable.

Carry on.

I figured that was the case, just added that additional question to be sure.

Which cable was the OP that I quoted referring too was my primary question. I'm curious if there is a cable in the optional accessory kit that allows the UTM to be powered thru the LEMO cable in lieu of CR123 batteries?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

My SkeetIRX, now inthe Horta's loving hands, came with a USB card and the software. It's not MAC OS compatible.

Get yourself a copy of Fusion, from VMware, and run windows on that Mac... unless it's a new Mac that's not x86 compatible... in which case have one of your porters on your yacht go down to Staples and get you a POC HP laptop and install it there.

I no longer work for VMware, so this is no longer a self interest suggestion! ;)

Haven't seen any listed ratings from Trijicon.

That said, based on short eye relief (in dedicated mode), and low zoom capability (in clip-on mode)... it wouldn't be useful on anything bigger than small frame AR or rimfire anyways.
