GGWG's & Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation Let's Do This!

We need to get Don Spencer involved in something like that here.

Be interesting to see if he would take this up. His efforts for Permitless Carry law were a result of a personal grievance he had.

Perhaps we could tie this to the next education funding bill that comes around. A classic legislative trade off that would insure the program is funded.

@mikeinfwa how about a few bucks for the kids here to learn to shoot... it will only cost you a couple min of target time below the sheets in south america

Donation sent. :p:geek:

Need an update on how close to match we are today.

Also now that I have shown guerilla tactics still work I need a few more of you guys to start dropping little bombs in threads so we can get this done.

I have seen the hide raise more money far faster for non 2a things in the past.

Since your not shooting matches, buying ammo, driving to training, drinking in bar after match, paying for girlfriend after match, buying wife a gift because you went to match, taking time off work for a match.... this should be easy!!!!!!

Someone post up a sally Struthers think of the children please.

Ok, .gov mental gymnastics time.

Ill donate my time to teach kids how to completely wreck people in the dark (and properly scream REKT afterwards) upon completion of their firearms safety course.

Since my SME bill-rate was like $395 or some shit, technically, I'd be donating thousands of dollars, right? Right?
But do you want to teach basics??? This way they can atleast hit a target, then move on the high speed with you. So $100 would save you the headache of being frustrated in the desert. And the more kids you support now the more little minions you can have at your disposal.
Just a thought.

And by the way I dont have kids and never will. I prefer to ruin other peoples kids

One thought, ammo can swallow a budget quickly today. If the cause is worth it, Ammunition companies will donate.
That said, I have lead bullet ammo if acceptable for kids.

Ammo is one of our biggest expenses next to fuel. We shoot all types of ammo. We make sure to wash up afterwards. A ammo sponsor is really needed. Thank You!!

Thanks. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. In for $50.

This is common sense gun legislation that I can support: https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2019R1/Downloads/MeasureDocument/SB801/Introduced
What is it going to take to get that bill reintroduced? I'd like to see this become a model that spreads to other states.
That is our plan. We are currently working with other states to implement our program. Hawaii, New Mexico, Nebraska, and others are helping us establish a foothold. Hawaii will most likely be up first. I haven't publicized it yet, but I feel like we are family here. In June Im headed to Hawaii to train the volunteers there to get them up to speed. We just need contacts in other states that want to champion our cause. This is how we stop the other side.

Email CCI, Federal, Winchester, there is others. Can't get into it, but I have seen these companies donate to great causes, and ones even I found questionable.
Paying inflated prices for anything is a budget eater.

You're totally missing the opportunity here.

As you know, training usually consists of also having to use a shovel. Can you image the amount of trench network we can get built, with 30 kids jacked up on energy drinks and skittles who think what they're doing is actually fun?

I think I'm going to start the Kids Shovel Foundation.

Donated👍I sent my 3 kids to your class at Cabelas in Tualitin about two years ago....if you need another place to shoot I’m sure Douglas Ridge Rifle Club (Clackamas county) would love to host your classes. They have a indoor range for .22

There is a definite demand in that area. I'll see what I can figure out. Thank you for your support!!

One of our Brothers, @earthquake brought this up regarding the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation. Myself and a number of others have looked into this, and as far as Good Guy's With Guns and The Squirrel Mafia is concerned, this is a WINNER all the way around.

Here is the link for donations and some info: https://kidssafefoundation.org/safety-van-project/

Here is the guys Instagram if ya got that: https://www.instagram.com/kidssafefoundation/

This gentleman is the real deal. He's not talking out the side of his mouth. He's boots on the ground waist deep in this, and for good reason. I would highly advise backing this project. It's in ALL of our bests interests.

We won't have a bag man on this project since there is already a site set up to allow donations, which you can follow. Let's support this and show once again what the Hide can do and what we stand for. I plan on making my community and circle of friends aware of this program that so deservedly warrants it.

So what say all you hard asses out there in Hide Land? Wanna come together and make a difference for the betterment of all? Then chime in with an "I'm In" and go toss a few bucks in the Kitty. It's for the Kids, our future. Let's make a difference and help this guy out.
This is great to see this forum and the members step up and help like this.

I know Derek personally, we’ve shot together, chewed the cud at the range and helped out with the live fire range days for Kids SAFE.

I signed up just to let everyone know all the work you do is appreciated and goes exactly where you think.

You all deserve a round of applause.

You all are heroes. Just a heads up. WE HIT THE $5K!! We couldn't have done this without this community. Im so thankful for you all. I'm still crunching the numbers, but I believe we raised $5300!!

Derek
I was going to hold off till the 27th to donate more, I am not overly stocked on 22 ammo, but I will throw this out, if you have some ammo, are on the fence here, and will part with some at reasonable prices. I will cover some costs here, I pay you, you donate.

I am happy to help when and where I can, I joined here to learn things I didn't know, and have gotten help when I needed it.
We are up against billions of dollars worth of negative media campaigns telling the world how evil guns are. I hope that we can educate our youth that it is a false narrative. My donation and bumping is an attempt to pay the help I have received forward and say thankyou.

Hey everyone!! Phew what a week it’s been. I wanted to give you all an update. We finished the week with around $5300 all together donated through this group. We received confirmation of the $5k match, that it has been initiated. This gives a grand total of $37,728.74 of our $50k goal!!

After months of research all over the country I finally was able to find a deal through Costco of all places to order the Safety Van!! I picked out all the options that we would need and we made the decision to order. The total came in at $43,136.00 less fees. It will take 5-6months to take delivery because of covid and the fact these vans are highly sought after.

I got home today to a care package from @armorpl8chikn . We couldn’t have done this without all of you. Thank you for everything. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It just keeps getting better. What's wrong with that? 😄
