I bought a used Super X2 barrel from Numrich. It appears bulged at the choke tube. Does anyone have a Super X2 with a vent rib barrel they could measure for me and let me know if it gets larger in diameter at the choke tube?

Don't know about the X2 but I have seen shotguns with a slightly larger diameter in the area of the choke tube.
Is the "bulge" consistent? I believe the X2 barrels do have a flare back up for the tubes, but I'll look and see if I have a barrel to measure.
I have a x3. Pretty sure it tapers out wider toward the buisness end. Mine is camondipped so it isn't as obvious.
I found an SX3 vent rib barrel in the shop, and it does flare back out for the choke tube threaded portion. I bet you're on
When done in the barrel itself (fixed chokes), a flared muzzle end was often termed a Tula Choke like this set of Krieghoff barrels.
But I have never seen this on a Win SX-2. There are a number of pics of SX-2 barrels on the net and they are all straight as far as I can tell...like this
Is this a fixed choke or screw choke barrel....??? I thought they were all screw chokes which sort of eliminates Tula chokes, I believe.

Screw in chokes. It's only about .06 inches of difference. Really subtle. Probably wouldn't notice it at all if not for the really shiny bluing.
