Sidearms & Scatterguns 6354DO fit

Been looking at holsters and I'm down to a 6390rds or 6354DO.

I run a 34 with light and will get an RDS at some point. I know the 6390 will work but here mixed answers on the 6354DO.

I'll get either a RMR or Holosun 507c. Some guys act like it doesn't come close to fitting and some have no issue, what's yalls consensus?

You may have to modify the locking mech depending on where you mount the iron sights on the DO but it's very easy to do.

I have been carrying a 34 with an RDS in a prototype 6354DO for like 12 years...it was designed to clear a Docter on a dovetail-mounted plate so it has a pretty generous cut on the hood.

I'm leaving them in the stock location, so I assume that'll be fine?

I went from a Jpoint to a Docter to a milled in RMR with irons in front to a 507T with irons in the rear.

I saw where safariland claimed a 507T won't fit. How well does it fit?

Sorry, it’s a 507C. Doug at ATEI cut the slide, irons in the rear. It fits fine in mine.

Anyone using a tlr-1 HL in a 6354do?

Getting mixed answers on if it fits or not.

How can one guys fit and someone else's not fit? Makes no sense.

Just cut the hood off. Fixed. If you hit the holster hard enough to damage a red dot you’re probably transitioning to your IFAK
