read the barrel burn out post. agree that at the price no reason not to have a scope. but, questions. does the teslong work with just a plain simple desk top comp? i have no laptop, cell phone or any other tech stuff. not getting any either. scoping in the home office is easily done. also,is there a tutorial or guide included to teach one what you are looking at? never looked thru a borescope before so don't really know what i would be seeing without guidance. great thing for evaluating cleaning practices and barrel wear. tx for replies.

I run my Teslong on an old Android tablet that I never used anymore, but it will work on my desktop computer as well. What barrel do you have and we can prepare you for what you might see

The one thing I ran into is that I run Windows 7 still, so I had to download ManyCam (free) to work with the scope. Windows 10 will just let you use the built-in Camera app.

I ordered one with the screen. $99 on amazon. It's great and comes with a nice case and the screen is about the size of a phone these days. Does everything I need and the mobility is nice. Fits in my range bag just fine.

I’ll jump in what model would you guys suggest for best all around unit. Seems they make different lengths and rigid vs flexible.
Also I’m assuming that using on pistol barrels isn’t that big of an issue with the longer scopes?

I’d get the flexible one, way more portable and does the same job. I also recommend one that lets you use it at the range, either the Wi-Fi or the screened version, unless you take a laptop to the range.

one more question. looking at the $70 flexible @ .21" and the rigid (?) @ .20" dia. will the flexible work easily in ARs,22lr? .21 vs .20 in 223 bore? seems close and tight. ARs are my real concern. but,30cal also an issue which .21 should easily passany experience/feedback? thanks.
