G2 has been around for some time now and they have 1-10 G3 version... Or are people going for AMG and that has market covered?

The G3 is coming, just no idea of when. The NDA's are pretty tight so everyone who knows is super tight lipped about it.
They must be better than apple at keeping people from talking...

I’m with you, it’s gotta be coming soon. Hoping it will drive the 4.5-27 a tad be lower on the used market and I’ll pick one up.

Somewhere between $1 and $5000.
No one knows and as mentioned anyone who does can not say anything so just have to wait until Vortex makes an announcement.
While not knowing for sure - I bet people who follow Vortex can make intelligent guesses. When they release new generations - do they usually keep prices similar (slightly higher - as most) or have they done very large jumps before? Also when they release new products - do actual "do not sell below" prices (not MSRP) get set right away or do they actually sell at MSRP for a while and then actual price slides?Somewhere between $1 and $5000.

Never been large jumps. MAP(Minimum Advertised Price) pricing starts from the get go. For new items it usually stays there even from sellers who usually do deals but sometimes they drop the price some even from the get go but it's one of those call or email deals.
As to if "it's" worth it, well seeing as we don't know what "it" is or when "it" will come out there can't even be an intelligent guess on that. Any guess will be a shot in the dark.
Because we all know color is THE most important thing in an optic. It goes color, snipery look, cool name and then gets to those less important things like tracking, reticle, knobs and glass. LOL
You don't even know what an EBR-9C reticle is but you want one? LOL Might want to look into that a little more as it works in a 1-10 but not what i would want in a match scope in a 6-36x.
Lol, I hope its black too. That was something I mentioned to nick when we spoke about it. Aside from the glass cutting through mirage a bit better, that would be the only thing I would change about the G2 razor.
I hope they make it a totally different color, but not black, as it used to be easy to find my rifle at matches by seeing my Razor II color but with them being so popular it makes it harder now. Maybe a light purple would work LOL
If the 3-18 G2 was lighter it would probably be my perfect scope.
Hah, I just looked up a 9c reticle. I made that up on the assumption that the 9c would be an updated 7c. Seems I'm the fool. 2c + 7c is 9c ??
I'll revise to say "whatever their new generation ebr-2c / ebr-7c reticle is".
I don't want a ebr-9c on a 6-36.
I am taking one for the team. I was wanting for the Gen 3 to be released, but couldn't wait any longer so bought a Gen 2. It won't be long now.. lol
Bruh, I didnt even remember that there was a 9c reticle. I knew exactly what you meant simply bc I forgot ab the actual 9c. Hahaha
